Wireless networks security analysis
Szőcs, Juraj ; Vychodil, Petr (referee) ; Vymazal, Michal (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with analysis of security in wireless networks. There are desc- ribed various methods of security systems, such as WEP, TKIP and CCMP. There is also realization of attacks against the wireless network and there is analysis of security weaknesses. Then there are discussed possible defense mechanisms. Part of this work was also analysis of local security in certain areas and evaluation of their security.
WiFi and BT monitoring tool
Zelený, Miroslav ; Zamazal, Michal (referee) ; Valach, Soběslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with possibilities and ways of detection of devices using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi technology, with the possibility of future use for monitoring of human movement. Detection is only in the 2.4 GHz band. It introduces Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology and their detection. Device detection was performed using Kismet software and Raspberry Pi platform.
Proposal Of Cyber Threat Detector Using Raspberry Pi
Hirš, David
Nowadays, the number of discovered vulnerabilities increases rapidly. In 2019, the 20,362 vulnerabilities were discovered. Therefore, the probability of cyber-attacks realization and theireconomic impact are real. Currently, it is necessary to propose and implement automated and lowcostIntrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) that is applicable for home use or small corporate networks. The main goal of the system is to mitigate cyber-attack impact as fast as possible. In this article, wepropose IPS based on Raspberry Pi that can detect and prevent many various cyber-attacks.
Detection Of Fake Access Points
Lővinger, Norbert
Wireless networks have become a common part of our everyday life. This paper describes the cyber-attacks that employ fake access points. These types of attacks are dangerous for users due open communication medium and automatic connection of end stations. In order to prevent attacks, we can implement Wireless Intrusion Detection System to monitor a wireless network. In this article, we analyze Kismet system in experimental testbed that prevents fake access points attacks.
